Giving

God has given us so much, from the wonderful world He created to the privilege of spending eternity with Him. He gives freely and generously to all who ask Him. He loves it when we freely and generously give back to Him, and give away to others, some of what He has given us. 

God loves a cheerful giver, whether we are giving our time to devote to Him, our energy to love and serve others, or our resources to see His Kingdom extended.

At Berwick Vineyard Church we love to give away some of what we have received to the poor, the needy and the oppressed, to our partnerships in the Kingdom and to support individuals pursuing God's call on their lives.

We regularly provide opportunities to support these various activities and occasionally hold special offerings to support specific projects. Recently we have supported the work of Gospel for Asia (through the 50km Walk4Charity event), Samaritan's Purse (through donating shoeboxes full of Christmas gifts) and Iris Ministries (helping them provide education for 40 children this year). We have also helped send a number of our young people on short-term mission trips.

The vast majority of the income we receive from gifts, tithes and offerings is used for basic operating costs and ministry activities. These help us to fulfill the mission and vision that God has given Berwick Vineyard Church. We also regularly give financial and other support to the work of Vineyard Churches Australia, Endeavour Ministries and Impact Ministries.

We receive gifts, tithes and offerings every Sunday during the morning service. Many people prefer to give directly into the church bank account, through electronic or other means, which we encourage all to consider. We also have the option of giving by PayPal using the "Donate" button on this page.
